Dr. Wole Olomola

Dr. Wole Olomola has been a cornerstone of our practice since May 2007, bringing over a decade of clinical expertise, mentorship, and community service to the team. As a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Dr. Wole is widely respected for his dedication to delivering high-quality, holistic care and for his unwavering commitment to the advancement of general practice medicine.


With a warm, approachable manner and a collaborative mindset, Dr. Wole is deeply valued by both patients and colleagues. He believes in building genuine, long-term relationships with his patients, supporting them through every stage of life, and empowering them to take control of their health and wellbeing.


In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Wole is heavily involved in medical education and workforce development. He currently serves as:

  • GP Supervisor – mentoring and guiding early-career GPs through their training and professional development.

  • College Examiner – playing a vital role in the assessment and accreditation of future general practitioners.

  • Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Rural Clinical School of Tasmania – where he inspires and educates medical students and future healthcare leaders.

Dr. Wole’s broad and diverse clinical interests allow him to provide truly comprehensive care. His areas of special interest include:

  • Chronic Disease Management – including diabetes, cardiovascular disease, asthma, and hypertension.

  • Aged Care Medicine – supporting the complex health needs of older adults with compassion and expertise.

  • Addiction Medicine (Pharmacotherapy) – offering evidence-based support and treatment pathways for individuals experiencing substance dependence.

  • Men’s Health – addressing a wide range of issues including preventive screening, prostate health, and mental wellbeing.

  • Travel Medicine – providing up-to-date advice, vaccinations, and risk management for international travellers.

  • Forensic Examination – applying his clinical skills in legal and investigative contexts as part of his role as a Forensic Medicine Officer at the North West Regional Hospital (NWRH).

Dr. Wole is known for his patient-first approach, clear communication, and ability to manage complex health presentations with sensitivity and insight. He is particularly passionate about fostering a practice environment where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their care.


When he’s not in the clinic or teaching, Dr. Wole enjoys exploring the stunning natural landscapes of Tasmania, engaging with the local community, and spending quality time with family and friends. His curiosity and love of learning also drive him to stay updated with the latest research and advancements in medicine.
