The City of Burnie is located on Emu Bay and is home to around 20,000 residents. The area has a vibrant shopping district with a wide variety of dining options including beach side cafes. In conjunction with the practice, Health Recruitment PLUS (HR+) will organise a comprehensive orientation program on arrival. Vocationally recognised GPs are invited to apply for a HR+ relocation grant.
Doctors trained outside Australia working in this location will meet the moratorium requirements after seven years of practice.
